Just a hidden gem of a course with just each hole challenging your game from a different perspective. Cobb design who also has U of MD, Belle Haven, Pohick Bay and Augusta. Tee boxes where the only disappointment this round, but the course lay out far outweighs the small imperfections. You cannot beat this course for the money nor the eats location to D.C. The Black Hole bar is classic. Takes me back to college days in someone's basement betting on random golfers coming into #9. Just perfect on a sunny day after a nice round. Play it if you like to challenge your game in all areas. Cheers

I have been playing this course for quite a few years. It is always well maintained, especially the greens. The staff is very competent, and they try harder than most courses to maintain good course conditions and to keep a good pace of play.

Glenn Dale Golf Club is probably the best kept secret in the Wash D.C. area, sitting about 15 minutes north in Glenn Dale, MD. This George Cobb design is wonderful and fun to play with lots of elevation changes, water and lots of trees. This course caters to the youth with a golf school and plenty of junior programs to get involved in. The greens are its best attribute and are quick and undulating with a bit of slope thrown in. Makes for tricky puts especially if you are above the hole. I would recommend this course highly if you are in the Wash D.C. area.
